The list goes on. It never stops. The reasons are illogical, yet they make so much sense to the eating disorder mind. It”s hard to imagine what it’s like if you’ve never experienced it before but yes, it does happen to everyday people.
One of the key things to recover is acknowledging that it’s a mentality that IS not true (even though it feels like it is).
It’s a mindset that we can overcome. It doesn’t feel good, but it does get easier.
Just take it one step at a time.
